Great sites

The Park possesses a wealth of historical and architectural heritage in addition to the most well-known places.

If the villages of Rocamadour and Saint-Cirq Lapopie, the painted cave of Pech Merle or the Dordogne Valley figure amongst the "Great Sites" of Midi-Pyrénées, the Regional Natural Park also includes many villages which provide perfect examples of the distinctive architecture of Quercy. Padirac Chasm is also one of the finest examples of the listed natural heritage of the Causses du Quercy.

We also suggest that you visit places which carry the  "Parc" brand. The network of Tourist Offices stands ready to provide you with the information you need to explore all the distinctive characteristics and special features of our area.
